Yet another example of illegal aliens who come to
the U.S. "to do the jobs Amerians won't do." We have enough of our own
citizen criminals, we don't need to be importing any.
2 Mexican inmates escape from prison in Dilley, Texas, 70
miles southwest of San Antonio

Does anyone really believe that the Mexican
government is going to work with the U.S. to screen ANY criminals who
apply for "earned citizenship" - "amnesty" - or "refuge" status (or
anything else they call it)? Mexico could care less! In fact, they
are more than happy to let their citizens (criminal or otherwise) come
to the U.S. and participate in the American Dream as long as remittances
keep flowing their way. What a deal! Maybe the U.S. should consider
doing the same thing with Canada??
" Bustos-Diaz, held here since November 2007,
is serving 35 years for murder in Harris County, where court documents
show he pleaded guilty to killing Deborah Kay on Jan. 30, 2005. Bustos-Diaz
was 16 at the time of the murder but was tried as an adult and sentenced
to 35 years in prison.
Kay, 50, owned Oaks of Kendalwood stables in northwest Harris
County, according to Houston Chronicle reports in 2005. Sheriff's
detectives said at the time that a 16-year-old hired hand who lived in a
trailer at the stables confessed to stabbing Kay to death during an
argument."

ACTION ITEM!
Folks,
Once
again we are faced with a possible push for amnesty and having to
endure the protests and lies of the pro-illegal forces. To help combat
this push for amnesty, IRCOT is coordinating a plan of action for the
next several weeks and your help is needed.
At least
once a week, we are asking Texas activists to visit the district offices
of Senators Hutchison & Cornyn beginning May 1st.
We would like to have groups of 2-3
different people visit the offices each week. If you are willing to
take part in one of these groups, please let us know by sending your
response to
IRCOT@yahoo.com so that we may
begin to plan this action quickly
and efficiently.
May 1 is around the corner and the usual
May Day marches by the pro-illegal forces have been planned. So please
let us know as soon as possible your decision.
This plan
of action is not limited only to those who are able to make visits to
the offices of our Senators, it includes all of us by making calls,
emailing, mailing or faxing our Senators during this targeted time.
Other
information will be forthcoming.
PLEASE CONSIDER BEING A PART OF THIS EFFORT.
HELP TO COUNTER THE PRO-AMNESTY RALLY ON SATURDAY!
Chris Krok, KLIF's evening drive time host, is planning a rally Saturday
at 1:00 near Dallas City Hall to counter the pro-amnesty rally that is
also to begin at 1:00 on Saturday. If the pro rally follows history,
it will have community organizer money behind it and bus in massive
numbers of people.
Get the word out to all your family, friends and neighbors.

HEARING
Do you know
anyone who lives in McAllen? Tell them about this hearing. Ask them to
attend. Ask them to testify. All information can be obtained from the
legislative aide listed at the end of this notice.
AUSTIN—Texas
House Border & Intergovernmental Affairs Committee Chair Veronica
Gonzales announced today that a joint hearing with the House Public
Safety Committee will take place at 10 a.m. on April 29 in Room 101
of the McAllen Convention Center. The public is invited to attend
and testify.
"Every day, we are hearing and reading more reports of the drug
cartel wars in Mexico and the threats they pose to Americans on our side
of the border. At this hearing, the two committees will hear from local,
state and federal authorities on what the various law enforcement
agencies are seeing and what they are doing on our side of the border to
combat any potential spillover and how the State can assist in assuring
that our citizens are kept safe,” Gonzales said.
“A further concern on which the committees will take testimony is how we
balance security and trade so that actions taken by the State will keep
us safe but will not sacrifice our local economy, culture and quality of
life,” added Gonzales.
Gonzales' committee and the House Public Safety Committee, chaired by
Rep. Tommy Merritt (Longview), were charged by Speaker of the House Joe
Straus to "evaluate the effectiveness of state operations at controlling
drug-related crimes and other violence along the Texas-Mexico Border."
The committees will offer the public an opportunity to testify and will
hear invited testimony from several local, state and federal entities.
The committees are then tasked with making recommendations to the
Legislature when it meets again in January 2011.
