Script:
- On January 9th [2007], the Texas legislature began their
80th session and this session will be different. The Eyes
of Texas are upon you and you cannot get away!
- Bills have been filed to include:
- repealing in-state tuition to illegals,
- denied benefits to illegals,
- recover money from the federal government for costs
incurred by the state in dealing with illegal immigration.
- demand enforcement of federal immigration laws and,
- require proof of citizenship to vote.
- This all sounds great but wait, there's one bill
HB 244 that
says, ~ citizenship should not be considered in a political
process. This cannot happen. You need to be
informed.
- Visit Citizens For Immigration Reform's
website:

- Contact your Texas Law maker. Urge them to support
those bills that are right for Texas.
